Custom Order Terms and Conditions (Bespoke Work)
These Terms and Conditions apply to custom bespoke orders requested by the customer and produced by Endon Valley Custom Decals. Orders placed via our online store are covered by our General Terms and Conditions.
1) Definitions
- Supplier: Endon Valley Custom Decals.
- Customer: The person or organisation placing the order.
- Custom Build Products: Bespoke, made to order products and design work created to the Customer’s requirements.
- Proof: A digital design proof supplied for approval before printing.
2) Quotes and acceptance
- Quotes are valid for the period stated on the quote (or, if not stated, for a reasonable period).
- A commission is considered accepted once the Customer pays an invoice (either a deposit or payment in full). Once accepted, the order is treated as a bespoke made to order commission.
3) Deposits and payments
- A minimum 50% deposit is required to secure a custom order.
- For orders below £90, payment in full is required.
- Deposits are non refundable once paid, as they secure production time and design work.
- The remaining balance (if any) must be paid before printing and dispatch.
4) Cancellations, cooling off, and refunds
- Custom Build Products are bespoke and made to order. Once work has started, the order is non cancellable and non refundable.
- If the Customer cancels before work has started, any refund is at the Supplier’s discretion and may be reduced to cover any time already spent (for example admin, research, or setup).
- Refunds will not be issued due to impatience, change of mind, or unforeseen circumstances once the order has been accepted.
5) Proofs, approvals, and changes
- The Supplier will provide a Proof for the Customer to check and approve before printing.
- The Customer must check all details carefully, including spelling, sizes, quantities, and placement.
- The Supplier will make reasonable adjustments requested by the Customer within limits.
- Once the Proof is approved, the job moves to print. The Supplier cannot be held responsible for errors that were present in the approved Proof.
- Any changes requested after Proof approval may be subject to a minimum adjustment charge of £26 and may affect lead times.
6) Turnaround times
- As everything is made to order, turnaround times can vary depending on workload and the complexity of the commission.
- The Supplier will aim to complete work within the timeframe discussed, but the Customer accepts that delays to proofs and orders can occur during busy periods.
- Unless explicitly agreed in writing, the Supplier does not guarantee a specific completion date.
7) Postage and delivery
- UK orders are sent via Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For.
- International orders are sent via standard international postage.
- If the Customer requests a different postage option, this will be quoted and added to the invoice.
8) Delivery delays, loss in transit, and non delivery
- Delivery times are estimates and are outside the Supplier’s control once posted.
- The Supplier cannot be held responsible for postal delays or loss while items are in the postal system.
- If an item appears lost, the Supplier will pursue this with the postal service if notified within 14 days of the dispatch date.
9) Faults, misprints, and damaged items
- The Customer must report any physical issues (for example misprints or damage in transit) within 14 days of delivery.
- If notified within this period, the Supplier will assess the issue and, where appropriate, provide a replacement or reprint.
- Reports submitted after this period may not be accepted.
10) Customer handling and application
- The Supplier is not responsible for damage caused by the Customer during application, use, storage, or handling.
- Replacement items due to customer damage are available as a repeat order and will be chargeable.
11) Artwork ownership, copyright, and reuse
- Unless the Customer supplies print ready artwork for the Supplier to print, all artwork, layouts, and design files created by Endon Valley Custom Decals remain the property and copyright of Endon Valley Custom Decals.
- The Customer is purchasing the finished printed decals (and the right to use them for their intended application), not ownership of the underlying artwork files.
- Endon Valley Custom Decals may reuse general design methods, layouts, processes, and non customer specific elements (for example lining styles, spacing rules, and production templates) in future work.
- Endon Valley Custom Decals may reuse and adapt the underlying artwork created for the commission (including recreating it for reprints, variations, and future work).
- Any artwork files supplied by the Customer remain the Customer’s property and copyright. Endon Valley Custom Decals will only use Customer supplied artwork for the purpose of completing the Customer’s order.
- Endon Valley Custom Decals may retain a copy of Customer supplied artwork for record keeping and to support reprints or repeat orders, but will not share it with third parties.
12) Agreement
By accepting a quote and/or making payment, the Customer confirms they have read and agree to these Custom Order Terms and Conditions.
General Terms and Conditions
Please be aware that all items on our store are printed to order. We DO NOT keep any items as stock.
By placing an order, whether from our store or custom made (bespoke), you consent to the terms and conditions. You hereby understand that the items you are ordering are hand made, made to order items that are created by us specifically for your order.
Once your order is placed we do not allow alterations to sizing, material or images, nor do we permit refunds to be given in the event that these terms were overlooked and blindly agreed to.
If you receive an item from us, ordered from our store, that is incorrect you may contact us and we will be happy to assist you in an exchange for the correct items originally intended to be ordered, as long as the price of that matchs the one originally intended.
This does not apply to custom made (Bespoke) items.
Once an order is made as a proof & or printed in part or full it is NON REFUNDABLE, this applies to both custom made orders and orders made from our store. Refunds will not be made in the event of impatience or unforeseen circumstances.
Any orders made where payment is via the 'Stripe' direct card payment option, orders may not be processed until the payment has cleared with us, this can take upto 14 days.
Please be aware any adjustments you want made to the products listed on our store (excluding scale size) will have an extra charge of £26.00 as it is then classed as a custom order, This charge will be emailed to you as a seperate invoice. When payment is made the job will be processed. If the adjustment charge payment isnt made, after 14 days the job will be printed as the standard pack sold on our store and posted to the customer.
Smaller scale decals:
Please note that decals in smaller scales such as 009 scale may differ slightly from the product image to help create a clearer decal for use on your models. Some may also be less clear due to the physical size. Upon purchasing decals in these scales you agree to these terms and conditions, a refund will NOT be authorized.
please also be aware Decal pack sheets may arrive in cut part sections and / or different layouts to that displayed in both custom order proofs and on our store this is to help on printing. Everything that is included on that particular order will be included in the pack.
Please DO NOT ORDER MADE TO ORDER ITEMS OR CUSTOM ITEMS IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS.

I work alone and can become extremely busy, so while I will give you best estimates on delivery times, I may not be able to totally stick to them. I do endeavour to have all orders out as quickly as possible, there are of course, so many factors that can cause delays. When making payment for a custom order with me, you are hereby accepting my Terms and Conditions.

On shipment of items:
Upon placing an order your order may be split into multiple shipments to get you your products as soon as possible. Some products may take longer than others to create and upon completion will be shipped immediately.
Do not be surprised if you receive your items from your order individually. If you have any concerns about the whereabouts of your unfulfilled times on your order than feel free to contact us via email.
We do not accept returns on any custom designed items.
We do not give refunds for orders canceled due to impatience or incorrect orders attributed to customer error.
Store orders:
Please make sure you select the correct design prior to completing your order and double check to make sure your order is correct before submitting payment! We will not provide a refund on these orders due to mistakes mad upon ordering.
'Show Collection' shipping Option T&C's (when available)
The 'Show Collection' shipping option is open to UK residents that hold a show ticket only. By placing the order using this option you agree to collection of your items at the advertised show.
All orders made using the 'Show Collection' option MUST be collected from our stand at the advertised show on the shipping option description, Any orders not collected at the show advertised or anyone who may order through our store using this option with no intention of attending. Their order will not be honoured and they will receive a refund (minus the Paypal / Stripe card charge) up to 3 weeks after the show has taken place. please bring proof of payment when collectiing your items.
